By Anonymous TALLAHASSEE, FL June 25, 2004 -– MenuEngine, Inc. announced its new online ordering system for restaurants: eHungry.com. eHungry.com is a Web-based service that makes it easy and affordable for restaurants to let their customers order online for carry out, delivery and/or dining in.
Using eHungry.com, restaurants can have their own Website and offer online ordering in just a few hours. If the restaurant already has a Website, the online ordering site can be integrated and custom designed so it is seamless for its customers.
Once on the site, customers simply browse the menu, add the items to their cart and check out. Orders are faxed and/or emailed to the restaurant and an automated phone call or page alerts the staff to the new order.
Restaurants can manage their site and menu through their Online Manager, and get detailed statistics and information on their customers, orders and sales in real-time. Restaurants can also effectively market to customers through online coupons, specials and announcements.
"Customers love online ordering because they can progress at their own pace and have complete control of the ordering process," says Scott Arkin, President of MenuEngine. "Restaurants love it because it makes their Web presence profitable and builds customer loyalty and more frequent orders quickly and easily."
Restaurants can set up their online ordering Website themselves at http://restaurants.ehungry.com/ or let the eHungry.com team take care of the setup work at no additional cost by calling 1-888-486-4794. Restaurants pay a monthly fee of $39.95 which includes 50 free orders a month for the service. Additional orders are only $0.35. eHungry.com offers a 30 day free trial to find out whether online ordering is right for the restaurant.
eHungry.com also offers a free Web directory for member restaurants to be listed in that provides Web visitors a way to search for local restaurants and order takeout online.

By Anonymous ATLANTA, GA. September 23, 2004 - About Kevin Rathbun: In May of 2004, Chef Kevin opened his signature restaurant, Rathbun’s, in the Inman Park area of Atlanta. Rathbun’s has received a three out of four-star rating by the Atlanta Journal Constitutions Restaurant Critic, Meredith Ford, that makes it one of the “Best Restaurants in Atlanta”.
Kevin has worked with renowned chefs like, Bradley Ogden, Emeril Legasse, and Stephen Pyles. He was nominated for the James Beard “Rising Star Chef” of 1994. He brought Atlanta Southwestern cuisine with NAVA and then introduced Fusion to Atlanta as the opening Executive Chef of Bluepointe. From 1999-2003, Chef Kevin was the Corporate Executive Chef for the Buckhead Life Restaurant Group, and oversaw many of the restaurants.
About Rathbun’s: Rathbun’s recently received a three out of four-star rating from Atlanta Journal Constitution restaurant Critic Meredith Ford. It was mentioned in USA TODAY as one of the new “Gourmet Selections of Restaurants to Check Out”. Rathbun’s is highlighted with dark wood and exposed brick walls. It has an open kitchen, dramatic tones of gray, and a description of industrial meets modern. The mix of the worn out flooring maintains the industrial feel while the suspended stovepipe pendants radiate a tone of fuchsia. The open illuminated kitchen accents the dining room. The bar includes four large dark columns and a bleached white cherry-wood bar top. The long, draped, knotted sheers gives the space the warm feeling of a just-built 100 year-old building.
Pops of vibrant color make up the room and the sound incorporates a jazzy, urban tone that gets one excited the moment they walk through the fuchsia colored door. The outside covered patio has logoed peak-a-boo fabric panels and large umbrellas that allow the intimacy of private patio dining and the feeling that one is in a hidden gem of a restaurant.
